The Woman Remembers

The Woman Remembers is a sophisticated and visually stunning projected work about belonging and loss. The work has evolved from a long-term collaboration between independent theatre companies in Queensland, New Zealand and Japan. For this iteration, Belloo collaborated with Good Company Arts (New Zealand) and Phluxus2 Dance Collective (Brisbane) to share a poetic piece of visual storytelling on the façade of the Judith Wright Centre from 1 November 2021 to 2 January 2022, nightly.

The Woman Remembers is a work of scale and beauty addressing our relationship to landscape and our experience of climate emergency.
